A little behind its competitor Zoom, Microsoft has enhanced personal privacy of video conferencing in Teams by introducing “background effects”. Now, not only can you blur your background, but you can also select from a variety of images ranging from the minimalist to the fun; no doubt a godsend to those of us currently working in spare rooms or from the dining room table.
For those looking for branding opportunities, Microsoft are to release “custom images” in May (allegedly), but in the meantime, it is possible to create your own using the external article here. We found you need to select a background image first to create the folders necessary to use this articles advice.
