Lindsey leads the way for women in technology
Friday night saw the inaugural Women Leaders Peterborough Awards; a night recognising the many talented and inspirational women leaders that Peterborough as a city boasts.
At the glamourous ceremony, hosted by the Peterborough Arena, 400 guests enjoyed a great night and celebrated the success of Peterborough’s inspirational Women Leaders, across many sectors with 15 winners.
Lindsey Hall, recognised, and a finalist in three separate categories, was delighted to win the Women Leaders Science and Technology award, for her continued contribution to the IT sector. The judges commented “Lindsey has built a career and a successful business in a fiercely competitive and by-enlarge male-dominated IT sector, with client satisfaction, flexibility and innovation at the heart of all she does. Her drive saw her champion a city-wide campaign to improve the broadband offering across the city and was a key driver in the city becoming a gigabit city.” They continued; “Lindsey is an inspiration to her team and to other aspiring IT professionals.”
A delighted Lindsey later commented; “This is fantastic! To be recognised in this way and to be a finalist and winner amongst so many talented women is a fabulous feeling and one which will live long in my memory.” She continued “Everyone who was here were winners, all inspiring others every day and I wouldn’t have picked up this award without the support of a fabulous team here at Easylife IT. This means so much to me.”
Lindsey, along with the other winners, will now be automatically entered into the prestigious UK wide CBI First Women awards, taking place later this year.
